SPRINGFIELD – A new report shows former congressman Aaron Schock has continued to spend campaign dollars since resigning from congress earlier this year.
According to the report from the Federal Election Commission, Schock’s Generation Y Fund has received contributions from nearly 50 people between January and June of this year. At least three of those contributors were Illinois businessmen who received $5,000 refunds. The report also shows the fund transferred more than $22,000 to Schock for Congress that went to renting a five-star hotel in Aspen, Colorado in May.
Schock is currently under federal investigation.
