BLOOMINGTON – McLean County prosecutors have dismissed charges in a drug case the day before it was set to go to trial.
Assistant State’s Attorney Jeff Horve side several key witnesses who were going to testify against Dustin Pulliam, 28, of Columbia, South Carolina who was arrested last July in Bloomington. His bench trial was scheduled to begin on Wednesday.
McLean County Sheriff’s Police say Pulliam had accepted a package containing five pounds of marijuana shipped from California to a residence on North Roosevelt Street in Bloomington.
Pulliam previously spent six months behind bars for a drug arrest in 2011 during a drug investigation from the McLean County Sheriff’s Office called Operation Clean Sweep.
