Motorcyclist killed in crash on Route 24

CHENOA – An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday in the death of a motorcyclist on Route 24 in rural Chenoa.

McLean County Coroner Kathleen Davis said in a news release a male motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a semi-tractor trailer on Tuesday morning. Davis said the coroner’s office was notified of the crash at 7:21 a.m. Tuesday.

The crash happened west of 3570 East Road in Chenoa. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at 8:42 a.m. Davis said he was wearing a helmet.

Illinois State Police, Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, Fairbury Police and SELCAS ambulance all responded to the crash.
