BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Coroner Kathleen Davis has identified the man killed after his motorcycle collided with a semi yesterday morning on Route 24 in Chenoa.
Davis said Christopher J. Daugherty, 28, of Gridley, was pronounced dead at the scene just before 8:45 a.m. Preliminary findings from an autopsy Wednesday morning indicated Daugherty died of multiple physical injuries as a result of the crash. Toxicology results are still pending.
Davis said the incident remains under investigation by her office and the Illinois State Police.
