BLOOMINGTON – The St. Louis Cardinals conclude their three-game series at Busch Stadium against the New York Mets with rookie Tim Cooney facing Jon Niese.

The pre-game show starts at 12:20 p.m. on WJBC 1230 AM with the first pitch at 1:15 p.m.

Cooney, who started the season with the Peoria Chiefs, is making his third major league start and looking for his first decision. He has a 3.95 earned run average while Niese is 5-8 with a 3.61 ERA.
