Phyllis Legner
Phyllis A. Legner, 81, of Normal, passed away at 3:33 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at her home.
Her memorial visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2015 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home Bloomington. A private graveside service will be held in Funks Grove Cemetery.

Phyllis was born December 6, 1933 in Funks Grove, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Hazel Wright Kidwell. She married Syl Legner on August 28, 1954 in Bloomington. He died on April 23, 2006.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy (Philip) Legner Richmond of Bentown; three sons, Tony (Maddie) Legner of Rockport, TX, Greg Legner of Bloomington and Steve Legner of Normal; three granddaughters, Carrie, Hannah and Samantha and a great grandson, Oliver.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Harriet Naugle and Mary Becker; and 2 brothers, Glenn “Buster Kidwell and Ray Kidwell.
Phyllis graduated from Heyworth High School and worked at State Farm Insurance Co’s for 34 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, painting and spending time with family. She will be dearly missed.
