The second half of the Major League and Frontier League baseball season’s resume today as the St. Louis Cardinals and Normal CornBelters return to action.
The Cardinals open a weekend series against the New York Mets to begin a stretch in which 14 of the Cards’ next 16 games will be in St. Louis.
Lance Lynn is scheduled to start for the Cardinals, while the Mets will counter with righthander Noah Snydergaard.
WJBC 1230 AM will have the action starting at 6:20 p.m. with Mike Shannon and John Rooney. Tim Lewis will host Sportstalk before the game at 6.
The CornBelters start a three-game series at the Washington WildThings in suburban Pittsburgh. Greg Halbleib will call the action at 5:55 p.m. on WJBC.com.
