BPD investigating possible shot fired at Miller Park

BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Police Department is seeking information about a possible armed male in Miller Park Saturday night.

Police report at about 8:45 p.m. on June 20 an officer heard what he thought was a single gun shot. Not long after, dispatchers said several callers reported an armed person in Miller Park.

Police said multiple officers responded to the area, but were not able to locate a suspect or any injured parties. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

The suspect was described as a young black male. Police ask anyone with information to contact officer Jared Roth at (309)434-2379 or [email protected]. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call McLean County Crime Stoppers at (309)828-1111. A call leading to the arrest and indictment of suspect(s) can result in a reward up to $1000.00.
