Helen Wink, 92 of Fairbury, passed away at 12:30 p.m., June 8 at Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.
Funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Fairbury. Pastor Floyd Blackard will be officiating.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Fairbury or Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.
Helen was born Aug. 18, 1922 in Piper City, the daughter of John and Retta Throne McMahon. They preceded her in death.
She married John F. Wink on Nov. 9, 1941 in Fairbury. He passed away January 5, 2001.
Surviving are her daughters, Marilyn (Donald) Shurr of Iowa City, Iowa, Mary Jane (Peter) Hayes of Laurel, Miss., and Sally (James) Tipton of Fairbury; six grandchildren, Carrie (Jay) Coble, Molly (Jeff) Palmer, Jon B. Davis, Bethany (Aaron) Meiss, Scott (Tiffani) Tipton and Sarah (Jason) Elliott; 13 great-grandchildren.
Helen was a member of First United Methodist Church, Fairbury, United Methodist Women, and American Legion Auxiliary.
