PEORIA – A 15-year-old boy was clinging to a tree in a creek in Peoria when fire crews rescued him Monday morning.
News partner WMBD reported the boy was swept into the creek during the severe storms on Sunday. Walkers found the boy and alerted rescue crews.
Fire officials said the boy was alert and conscious. He was taken to the hospital.
