Cardinals, CornBelters baseball on WJBC

BLOOMINGTON – Michael Wacha goes for his eighth straight win without a loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Busch Stadium. The Cardinals are 9-0 in games Wacha has started.

The pre-game show starts at 5:20 p.m. on WJBC 1230 AM with the first pitch at 6:15 p.m. Wacha, who has a 1.87 earned run average, will be opposed by Carlos Frias, who is 3-2 with a 5.34 earned run average.

Also, on your computer or smart phone at wjbc.com, the Normal CornBelters continue their three-game series in Florence, S.C., beginning at 6 p.m.
