Lynda Neubauer
Lynda E. Neubauer, 73, Pontiac, died at 11:46 p.m. Feb. 13 at Regional One Health, Memphis, Tenn.
A celebration of her life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the McDowell United Methodist Church with Pastor Andy Black officiating. Private internment will take place in Patty Cemetery, Pontiac. The family suggests memorials be given to the Hernando, Miss. 1st Responders or the McDowell Methodist Church. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Neubauer was born April 17, 1941 in Sturgeon, Mo. the daughter of Ruby Waller and Alma Gladys Bagley Sexton. She married Lloyd W. Neubauer on July 3, 1966 at the McDowell Methodist Church, McDowell, Ill. He died on Feb. 3, 2003.
Survivors include two daughters, Annette (Ty) Schopp, Hernando, Miss., Kris (Craig) Ziller, Fairbury, Ill., two grandchildren, Danielle (Kevin) Powell, Zachary Schopp, three step grandchildren, Justin Ziller, Scott Ziller, Katie Ziller, one great granddaughter and two step great grandsons.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Norman Sexton, Roy Lee Sexton and one sister, DeLoris Stroh.
Mrs. Neubauer was a member of the McDowell Methodist Church.
