UPDATED: Bloomington Police investigate late night shooting

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police say they are not looking for any suspects in the shooting of a 19-year-old man late Sunday night.

Police spokeswoman Sarah Mayer says police were called to the 400 block of Catherine Street at about 11:30 p.m. She says the victim had a gunshot wound to the chest and was taken to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal. His condition isn’t known.

Mayer says a gun was recovered at the scene. No arrests have been made and police believe this is an isolated incident.
