Cardinals set to face two division leaders in road trip

The St. Louis Cardinals have embarked on a week-long road trip against a pair of first-place teams.

The Cardinals will open a four-game series at Citi Field against the New York Mets tonight. John Lackey will pitch the series opener for the Cardinals against Mets’ ace Matt Harvey who is 5-1 on the season. WJBC 1230 AM will have the call on the Cardinals Radio Network starting at 6 p.m.

The Cardinals will play four games against the Mets before traveling to Kansas City for a weekend set against the Royals.
