GROSSE POINTE, Mich. – Unit 5 superintendent Mark Daniel’s last job was in Michigan, which is where his predecessor has landed.
According to www.grossepointsnews.com, Gary Niehaus has been named the new superintendent of the school district in Grosse Pointe in the Detroit suburbs. Niehaus left Unit 5 last year after leading the district from 2007 to 2014. He had said at the time he was retiring.
