The St. Louis Cardinals open a six-game road trip in Pittsburgh tonight against the slumping Pirates.
The Cardinals have won nine of their last 10 games while the Pirates have lost five out of six.
Michael Wacha looks to continue the perfect start to his season (4-0) as he goes up against veteran lefthander Francisco Liriano (1-1).

The Illinois State softball team takes on No. 2 seed Missouri State in the semifinals of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in Wichita, Kansas. The Redbirds advanced with wins over Bradley and Northern Iowa on Thursday.
The game is set for 1:30 p.m. here on WJBC.com. The winner will play in the final at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Bradley (31-13, 9-6 MVC) currently sits in third place in the league standings, while the Redbirds (24-22, 6-9) are tied for fifth.
