PEORIA – Bradley University has named an interim president.
Dr. Stan Liberty will take over on June 1, a day after Joanne Glasser officially retires.
Liberty served as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Bradley from 1998-2005. Liberty left to become president of Kettering University in Flint, Mich.
He retired from that job in 2011, moved back to Peoria and came back to Bradley in a part-time role with the university’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
A nationwide search is underway to find Glasser’s permanent successor.
