BLOOMINGTON – Illinois State’s basketball team looks to move up in the Missouri Valley Conference standings when it entertains Loyola in a 7 p.m. game at Redbird Arena.

Coverage begins at 6 p.m. with Dick Luedke and Mike Matthews with the pregame show on WJBC 1230 AM and 93.7 FM NASH.icon. The Redbirds are 16-11 overall and 8-7 in the Valley. Loyola is also 16-11 overall and 6-9 in the league.

Meanwhile, on your computer or smart phone at wjbc.com at 7 p.m., Illinois Wesleyan’s basketball team plays host to Elmhurst at the Shirk Center. Both teams are tied for second place in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin standings with 9-4 records. IWU is 19-5 overall, while Elmhurst is 17-7.

Earlier in the day on WJBC.com, ISU’s softball team plays Mercer in Florida at 8:30 a.m. before taking on the University of Florida at 1:15 p.m.

The Illinois State baseball squad takes on Southeast Missouri State in a double-header in Louisiana beginning at 3 p.m. and the Bloomington Thunder faces Waterloo at 7 p.m. at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
