SPRINGFIELD – Electronic cigarettes have been an answer for those who don't want to go outside to smoke. But if one state representative has her way, e-cigarette buyers will also be left out in the cold.
The bill from Kathleen Willis, D-Addison, would ban so-called "vaping" indoors. She believes the product has second hand effects like the impact of second hand smoke from regular cigarettes.
At this point, anti-smoking groups say more information is needed to determine what the long term health impact is.
