SPRINGFIELD – Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan is asking for gas stations to stop selling synthetic drugs.
Madigan is requesting nine oil companies to tell their franchise service stations to stop selling the products, some of which are illegal.
Synthetic marijuana and bath salts top Madigan's list. She was joined by 42 other state attorneys general in calling for an end to the sale of the drugs.
