Judith Killian
Judith Diane Killian, 71, of Normal, died at 9:13 p.m. Dec. 13 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of Judith’s life will be held at a later date. Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Central Illinois or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
She was born Aug. 20, 1943 in Colfax, a daughter of Ivan and Donna Margaret Hoffman Harms. She married Ronald Winn. She later married William J. Killian on Oct. 20, 1981 and he survives in Normal.
Also surviving are three daughters, Bethany (Douglas) Brucker of Cropsey, Cathy (Jonathan Rayos) Pense-Rayos of Ann Arbor, Mich. and Cheryl (James Hill) Kruft-Hill of Spring Hill, Fla.; a step-daughter, Jennifer (Billy) Strong of Normal; ten grandchildren, Erin Terven, Lane Leake, Cassidy Brucker, Rhett Brucker, Annabella Pense, Clara Pense, Kayla Kruft, Christopher Kruft, Kelly Kruft and Connor Hill; five step-grandchildren, Ryan Killian, Jason Killian, Brad Strong, Amy Strong and Katie Strong; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Joyce Gordon; and a step-son, Terry Killian.
Judy retired from the Town of Normal. She enjoyed collectibles, animals, reading and antiquing.

Dorothy Totterer
Dorothy Louise Totterer, 98, of Normal, passed away at 10:49 a.m. on Jan. 14 at her residence.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington with Fr. Ric Schneider, O.F.M. officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Normal.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington.
Dorothy was born on Nov. 11, 1916 in Bloomington, a daughter of Max and Anna Langhoff Lockenvitz. She married Charles John Totterer on June 5, 1937 in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on June 16, 2006.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy (Dave) Davenport of Denver, Colo., Doris Totterer of Normal; two grandsons, Michael (Nell) Lucas of Shawnee, KS, Chris (Beth) Lucas of Denver, Colo.; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Diana Totterer; two sisters; and six brothers.
Dorothy was a homemaker her whole life. She was a wonderful mother, her family was everything to her.
She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Royal Neighbors.
Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
