Bloomington police make arrest

BLOOMINGTON – After a string of east side burglaries, police in Bloomington have made an arrest.  Bloomington Police Spokesman Sarah Mayer says the neighborhood came together.

"They started neighborhood watch groups and so it was really a combined effort between our citizens and the police that led to the arrest," said Mayer. 38 year old Julio Guadron of Bloomington is now facing charges.  Mayer hopes some peace of mind can now come to residents.

Mayer does not believe there are any other suspects involved.
