BLOOMINGTON – Make sure to listen to WJBC 1230 AM at 5:10 p.m. today for the second segment of our three-part Coach to Coach series, a conversation between former Central Catholic, Normal Community and Illinois Coaches Association Hall of Fame coach John McIntyre and Illinois State’s Brock Spack.
Today, the pair talks about what Spack learned from his long-time mentor Joe Tiller during his time as an assistant coach on Tiller’s staff at Wyoming and Purdue and about All-American running back Marshaun Coprich’s running style.
Part III runs Friday at 5:10 p.m. and the two coaches discuss how Spack has changed views regarding his defensive scheme and what the Redbirds will need to do against North Dakota State in Saturday’s noon championship game from Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
The first part, which deals with the Redbirds’ preparation leading up to the game, can be heard under the podcast page on wjbc.com.
