Normal firefighters made quick work of an apartment fire on Normal's north side overnight Monday.
It happened at 710 Orlando Avenue building five around midnight. Normal Police helped to evacuate four people from the building who were not allowed to return to their apartment for the night.
The fire was in one of the second floor apartments. No one was injured.
Damage is estimated at $6,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
