SPRINGFIELD – A new Illinois law goes into effect at the start of the year that will require stores to have child-proof caps on bottles of liquid nicotine.
The measure is designed to protect children from the liquid nicotine compartments of an electronic cigarette. Doctors say one teaspoon of the contents can be lethal to a child.
