BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington man has been arrested for what police say are a series of burglaries that have taken place on the city's east side.

Officers apprehended Julio C. Guadron, 28, from the 800 block of Arcadia in Bloomington, without incident early Sunday morning. Officers were initially in the area of Coventry Court, after a call from a homeowner saying someone was in their home.

According to police, the arrest will clear multiple burglaries on the eastside of Bloomington from July to December of this year.

Investigations into those burglaries will continue.

I was a grade-schooler during the Civil Rights 1960s. I watched Birmingham demonstrators hosed and the Selma – Montgomery…

Workers’ Memorial Day – Remember those whose job took their life

COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
