Supreme Court gives ok to look for new 11th Circuit Judge

SPRINGFIELD – Applications are being accepted to become the new Associate Judge in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.

The position becomes available due to the current Associate Judge, John Casey Costigan, will be moving up to a circuit judge seat at the start of 2015. Costigan replaces the retiring Judge Elizabeth Robb, who leaves the post as chief judge after 10 years.

The Eleventh Judicial Circuit includes all of McLean, Woodford, Livingston and Ford Counties. Any attorney who is able and practice law in Illinois and is a resident of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit can apply for the Associate Judge Position. Applications are being accepted until Jan. 21 at 5 p.m.
