Standoff in Gibson City is over

The police standoff in Gibson city is over and a former state police officer is behind bars. WGCY Radio tells WJBC it started as a domestic call. Bradley Cluver allegedly held a female hostage. He eventually let her go during the two hour standoff. Gibson City Police were on the scene along with police from Paxton, Piper City and the Champaign-Urbana Swat Team. Cluver served as a state police officer for nearly 20 years and has lived in Gibson City for about three years. Police recovered a few guns and ammunition. Cluver is at the Ford County Jail and he's facing armed violence charges.
