Berlin - Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is calling on Europe to carry more of the burden on global security threats.
Speaking before thousands of people at Berlin's Victory Column, the Illinois senator cited growing threats in Afghanistan and says America can't do it alone.

Earlier this week, Obama cited Afghanistan, not Iraq, as the central front in the global terror war. In his Berlin speech, Obama says it's time to bring the Iraq war to a close.
He also called for new international efforts to curb nuclear proliferation and says Iran must end its nuclear ambitions. Citing the current threats of terrorism, Obama says the world cannot afford to be divided by constructing new walls.
He also stressed the U.S. and Europe must lead international efforts to curb global climate change.
