The McLean County Coroner has completed an autopsy on the man killed in yesterday's crane accident in Normal. Coroner Beth Kimmerling says Josh Dawe died as a result of blunt chest and abdominal trauma due to being compressed under a heavy object. Dawe was from Topeka and had been a union iron worker for ten years. He leaves behind a fiancee and baby. OSHA and the Coroner's office are still investigating. It may be several weeks before the results are available.
