Agency offering energy bill help

     Low-income families can get help paying their electric bills. Applications will be accepted for two weeks starting Monday at Mid Central Community Action. The agency is offering a one time payment of $150 toward your electric bill in McLean and Livingston counties. Community Services Director Cathy Grafton says there are certain criteria you have to meet to be eligible.

You can call starting Monday for appointments or walk-in to the Pontiac or Bloomington office on July 7th, 8th, 10th, 15th and 17th. You can call Mid Central Community Action to find out all the paperwork you'll need to bring with you to complete the application.
