State unveils new interlock device that will become law in 2009

First-time DUI offenders might have a harder time getting behind the wheel next year. New breath alcohol ignition interlock devices will be placed in their cars starting in January. Brad Fralick, Director of Governmental Relations for Consumer Safety Technology, says the "Intoxalock," which his company makes, is designed to prevent people from trying to get around the law.
