Police Major Jim Woolford says the man's identity is not being released yet until family has been notified. Wolford says a witness reported seeing the tow truck driver's car travel across Route 66, into the ditch near a restaurant along Route 116 -- and then into the ditch east of 66. The head of the body was found in an auto sales parking lot to the west.

A similar suicide was reported in the Livingston County community of Manville two years ago. In that case, A Chicago man strapped a cable around his neck and drove while the other end was attatched to a guardrail.
