Route 66 Museum in Pontiac gets needed upgrade

     People in Pontiac and all over Central Illinois are looking forward to a much-needed addition to the Route 66 Hall of Fame Museum.
     Pontiac Downtown Director Lori Fairfield says construction is underway on a new elevator, which will also serve the nearby Livingston County War Museum.

    The elevator should be completed by Labor Day. Due to the construction, both east entrances of the Route 66 Museum will be closed. Visitors are asked to use the west entrance.
