Check your child's car seat for free today

Parents of small children will have a chance today to have child safety seats in their cars inspected. State Farm is hosting 14 clinics statewide, including one from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at State Farm Headquarters in Bloomington. Also in the listening area -- there'll be in a clinic from noon until 9 p.m. at Agent Maggie Oleson's office in Gibson City.

State Farm Spokeswoman Missy Lundberg says last year, only nine percent of the cars at the clinics had seats correctly installed.

Volunteer technicians from law enforcement and State Farm received 32 hours of training before becoming certified for the clinics.
