Health department 'practices' medicine today

The McLean County Health Department is hosting its first ever downstate regional medication drill for volunteers on Saturday.

Spokeswoman Bree Davis says the department will see how many people it can get through a medication dispensing process during a mock chemical attack.

Davis says it will also exercise the use of mutual aid which would be needed in the case of an emergency. She says 33 volunteers will take part in the event taking place at Heartland Community College.
