SPORTS- Interim title removed as King named IWU head softball coach

Illinois Wesleyan University has removed the interim designation and named Steve King head coach of its softball team, IWU athletic director Dennie Bridges announced today.
Under King's direction in 2008, the Titans won the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin regular season championship with a 12-2 record and finished with a 30-11 overall record and an appearance in the NCAA Division III regional at Eau Claire, Wis.
