Cops and firefighters battle on the field

The Twin Cities' finest and bravest will go head to head this weekend in a battle for bragging rights on the football field. The Bloomington police and fire departments will play each other in a flag football game at U.S. Cellular Coliseum tomorrow and Normal police and fire will do the same in the Guns N' Hoses fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy. Brad Park from Normal Police tells WJBC's Laughlin and Reynolds, he expects the game to be a friendly affair, at least at first.

The Bloomington game starts at noon. The Normal game is at 2:30 p.m. Tickets for each game are $5. You can get a quarterback combo ticket for both games, and the Extreme game that night, for $15.
