A lawyer for McLean County Board member Bob Nuckolls says two women are using restraining orders against his client as a sword ... not a shield.
The women accuse Nuckolls of harassment. One works with him at ISU while the other, her daughter, is an employee of the McLean County clerk's office. Judge Rebecca Foley today agreed to continue the temporary order and put off arguments for a permanent restraining order because the women's lawyer said he was hired just two days ago. Nuckolls' lawyer John Prior argued against it.

Nuckolls will be back in court June 13th unless there is a settlement. An outside investigation is also underway into whether Nuckolls violated county board ethics rules.
