Four Bloomington Junior High School students have been kicked out of District 87 schools for two years. The schoolboard took action last night in response to a fight that happened April 29th.

The four juveniles will attend an alternative school through the Dewitt/Livingston/McLean County Regional Office of Education. The students were suspended after the fight and are also facing charges in juvenile court.

District 87 Superintendent Bob Nielsen issued a statement saying they recognize and take seriously their responsibility to provide a safe environment and that the board's action reflects District 87's commitment to live up to that expectation.
