Bloomington streets might soon get needed repairs

City Manager Tom Hamilton says the council will consider spending more money on street repairs this year.

     The Bloomington City Council will decide tonight whether to spend almost $2.4 million to resurface city streets. City Manager Tom Hamilton says once the contract with Rowe Construction is approved, expect to see repair work start right away

Hamilton says the harsh winter played a big factor in the increased costs. Also tonight, Council members will decide whether to approve a change order for the demolition of the Coachman Hotel.
