ISU names Lab Sciences building atrium for emeritus professor

   Illinois State University is putting the name of a man on the atrium of its science building whose sweat and attention to detail went into every aspect of the building.
   Campus Dining Services Director Arlene Hosea congratulated Emeritus Chemistry Professor and former Department Chair Sol Shulman.

   Shulman says he is honored and proud of his work after retirement as a consultant, often putting in 60-hour weeks in the design and construction of the award-winning Science Lab building. His main conerns?

    Shulman even designed a see-through fume hood for the building with the caveat the company that created it refer to its new product as the "ISU Fume Hood."
