United Way of McLean County releases additional funds

Some local programs are going to receive some additional funding from the McLean County United Way. Community Impact Cabinet Vice Chair Dave Wuethrich says it's based on a two-year funding program and only ten of the 46 funded programs requested additional core funding.

Wuethrich says the S.A.M.E Program will receive an additional $100,000, the Boys and Girls Club Fitness Authority Program will get an additional $2,300, and the Hispanic Outreach Program will get $14,000. He says the LINC Program will get $80,000.
