Planning commission looks at bike trail between Bloomington and Peoria

There's planning underway for a bicycle trail to connect Bloomington-Normal to Peoria. The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission has been studying the idea. The commission's John Chambers tells WJBC's Beth Whisman the preferred route would go from Morton, southeast to Mackinaw, over to Danvers, and then down to Bloomington-Normal.

Chambers says they'll take the next few months to see if there's enough public support for the Mackinaw Valley Trail. Chambers says if there is support, they will move forward.
