Employee retention was the center of discussion at Wednesday's meeting of the Livingston County Board’s nursing home committee. The group heard information from the county human resources director about a retention package for employees, once Livingston Manor is closed.

The county will outline the details of the plan with the home's employees later this month. The board is looking to close the county-owned nursing home south of Pontiac.
