McLean County Sheriff Mike Emery says he's put extra security in place in the clerk's office because of an order of protection involving an employee and County Board member Bob Nuckolls.
Two women, who are related, have received temporary orders of protection against Nuckolls. The second woman is an employee at Illinois State University where Nuckolls is director of ISU's parking and transportation division.
Sheriff Emery says no criminal complaints have been filed with his office and he's merely addressing concerns raised by Clerk Peggy Ann Milton.
