VERNON HILLS, Ill. - The chief judge in Lake County says he's resigning his leadership post after being arrested for driving under the influence. David Hall was placed on administrative leave after last month's arrest. The county's judges are meeting Thursday and may elect a new
chief judge, or keep the an acting chief judge at the helm. The 55-year-old was arrested in Vernon Hills late last month during a traffic stop.
