BPD: Parkway attack not random

Bloomington Police are trying to inform the public about the truth behind a widespread email that details a random attack in the Parkway Plaza. Officer Dave White says the Easter Sunday attack wasn't random at all.

The email in question was written by the father of the man attacked on Sunday outside the Jewel-Osco on College Avenue. He claims his son was left with a broken jaw. White tells WJBC's Steve Fast there hasn't been an arrest in the case, but police have interviewed both parties.
The email also suggests there's been a string of attacks on preteen students and the elderly in the same area. But, White says police reports don't reflect that.
