Vigil marks five year anniversary of Dalton Mesarchik murder

It was a somber atmosphere in Streator Wednesday night. Friends and family members of Dalton Mesarchik held a vigil in front of the Streator Police Department to mark the five-year anniversary of Dalton’s death.
The seven-year-old boy was found murdered in 2003 and the case remains unsolved. Dalton’s mother, Michelle Mesarchik, says her son will always be remembered.
