Burglars target open garage doors

That's the message from Normal Police, who say six homes have been broken into this month through an open garage door. Police Spokesman Brian Williams says you might think you closed the garage door. Williams says police are knocking on the front door when they see a garage that looks like it's been accidentally left open.
Bloomington police say they've had eight residential burglaries in the past month -- but only one that involved an open garage door. Police spokesman Duane Moss says that many burglaries is not uncommon in a week's time.
